MRF World Series for Nehru Cup
The MRF World Series for the Jawaharlal Nehru Cup was a cricket tournament held in India to celebrate the centenary of Jawaharlal Nehru's, birthday. Six teams took part India, the hosts, Australia, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.

Modi Continental Wrestling Challenge Cup
The tournament was held at Fathehgarh (U.P.), India, with participation from Wrestlers in all weight categories who had won any Championship or had represented India in International Wrestling Competitions.
